I’ve got an idea that could really improve user experience when modifying focus block settings. Right now, strict protections on focus blocks require users to turn off the entire block to make even minor changes, like adjusting the allow list, changing block types, or modifying plan protections. This can disrupt workflow and compromise accountability, especially for users who rely on strict settings like a 500-word block or accountability partners who must oversee every small adjustment.

Suggestion:
Adding a delayed activation feature for certain focus block adjustments, so changes only take effect after a waiting period (e.g., 2 hours or 24 hours). This delay could help users avoid making impulsive changes while keeping the adjustment process simple—just a click. For urgent needs, users could have the option to bypass the delay by completing a more challenging task.
